I read the following quote about the God of Peace recently

When Paul wrote, "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly," he did not exhort his brethren to aim at a standard which it was impossible for them to reach; he did not pray that they might have blessings which it was not the will of God to give. He knew that all who would be fitted to meet Christ in peace, must possess a pure and holy character. Maranatha 62

Just think. What does the God of Peace want for me? He whole plan is to sanctify me wholly. What does 'sanctify' mean here? Sanctify = make complete, whole, entire, at one.

Is that possible to be 'at one' in God, in Jesus, in the Holy Spirit? Most certainly.

That is an awesome goal God has. He wants to bring me into His Peace completely, entirely.

After thinking about that for a while, I'll be able to share more what that can mean to me.
